Printed photos
Family albums, loose prints, snapshots, school photos, and other printed memories digitized into clean, organized image files.

Photos fade. Negatives get forgotten. VHS tapes get harder to play every year. Kiniston Media helps families turn old memories into clean digital files that are easy to keep, watch, back up, and share.

You do not need to know what scanner, file type, or capture hardware you need. Bring us the originals and we will help figure out the sensible way to preserve them.

35mm negatives and other supported film formats scanned at high resolution so the detail in the original is preserved.
Home movies transferred from VHS to modern digital video files that are much easier to watch, copy, and share.
Supported reel-to-reel home movie formats transferred to digital so older family footage can be preserved without relying on vintage playback equipment.

These are not replaceable files. They are often the only copies that exist. We want the process to feel personal, straightforward, and careful—not like dropping a box into the mail and hoping for the best.
We are starting this service locally in the Grand Valley while we refine the process and equipment around the formats families actually bring us.
Every collection is a little different. We would rather look at what you actually have and give you a clear recommendation than force everything into a complicated package.
A shoebox of photos, a stack of negatives, VHS tapes, reel-to-reel video, or an entire family archive. We can start small.
Your originals are handled locally and converted with quality-focused equipment and settings.
Files are returned in a practical format that can be backed up, shared with family, and enjoyed without old equipment.

A digital archive should not just exist on a drive somewhere. We want the files organized clearly enough that you can actually find them, make backup copies, put them on your TV, send them to your kids, or pass them down without needing an old VCR or a box of negatives.
Tell us roughly what you have and how much of it there is. We can talk through the formats, condition, and what kind of digital copies make sense before you commit to anything.
